About College

MRKPTC was started in the year 2010 with 286 students on roll now it has grown up to 614 students with 5 courses Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering discipline.

MRKPTC approved by AICTE and affiliated to DOTE. It has well qualified and experienced faculties. It constantly aims towards achieving excellence following, the Institution’s core values namely Discipline, Determination, Dedication, Involvement and Integrity under the successful leadership.

The college has enjoyed tremendous growth and success over the past 13 years, with significant changes and challenges.

Special coaching is arranged for students who are not able to cope up with the training.Differentiating from other institutions, Disciplining young minds and bringing out the hidden talents in them are the objectives of the institution. The students are trained in all possible latest technologies. The students are made to think innovatively and differently.

Mr. M.R.K.P. Kathiravan - Chairman of M.R.K Polytechnic College is well known for his philanthropic attitude and service. He envisioned a technological revolution and committed himself to establish an institution, to foster technical and higher education for rural areas.

The lush green environment, the expansive buildings, the well-equipped laboratories and the unparalleled discipline of the students standout as shining examples of his own unique style of management.

Thanks to the full time participation of the Management and the guidance provided by learned professors, the college has achieved great heights. The Management believes that the nation needs not just engineers and professionals, but virtuous men and women who can be engineers and professionals.
