Admission Eligibility

For First Year - The candidates who pass X Standard or equivalent examinations with Mathematics and Science subjects are eligible for admission into Polytechnic Colleges.

There is no age restriction to join the Diploma Courses with effect from the academic year 2004 - 2005.

For Lateral Entry (Second year) - The candidates shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic or Vocational) with the following conditions :

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship( Any of Three) .
  • 10th + 2 year ITI shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course.

Rules & Regulations

  • Cellphone is strictly prohibited inside the campus
  • College will normally work for 8 hours from 9.00 a.m.
  • Students are required to be regular and punctual to the classes.
  • Students must follow the dress code and must wear College identity card inside the campus.
  • Students should maintain perfect order and strict silence inside the lecture/drawing halls/ labs/ workshop at all times.
  • Movement outside the classroom between lectures should be minimum and for valid reasons only.
  • Observation notebooks should be brought to the laboratory classes.
  • Record of experiments done in a particular laboratory hours should be submitted in the next laboratory hours.
  • Using of Drugs inside the campus is strictly prohibited.
